I have always wondered what the point is of sitting on a horse and swinging with a club – while chasing a ball? The poor horses can’t possibly be enjoying this event…
Overall, it is just a bunch of fancy people (most of them too old for my taste) sitting with their hats on trying to see that little white ball between all the horses.
I didn’t find a hat necessary neither did I want to be jumping up and down cheering on the polo players! Instead I found a new addiction!! Popcorn with Truffle oil all over them, now that’s fancy! I absolutely love truffle oil and I would not hesitate to put it on everything I eat! Highly recommended those pricey pops!
On my way to Polo with the top down in January. I’m not complaining!! =)
