Daria Werbowy To Front Diane von Furstenberg’s Fall Campaign

Daria Werbowy returns for a third season to front Diane von Furstenberg’s fall campaign.

”This campaign is really all about the woman,” commented von Furstenberg to Style.com.

”She knows who she is. She is a free spirit even when all eyes are on her.”

This fall campaign was shot at the Waldorf Astoria by Mikael Jansson, who, as Style.com pointed out, also photographed Werbowy for The Last Magazine earlier this year.

Werbowy has been quite popular, especially as of late, when it comes to fronting campaigns.

Last week, Werbowy’s images for Equipment’s fall 2014 campaign that are in the form of self-portraits and were taken by the model were released.

According to Vogue, Equipment had the model shoot a campaign of self-portraits and an accompanying video. Both were styled by Werbowy and starred Werbowy.

The model spoke to Vogue how she dared to make her task more than an exercise in vanity and more about an introspective journey.

”I went kind of mental and just kept shooting to get over the nerves of the whole process. It definitely brought up things for me emotionally.”

Werbowy continued, ”I saw certain qualities about myself in the creative process and even some control issues I had. I think it is more of a true representation of myself than people have ever seen before.”

Prior to that, Werbowy was unveiled as the the star of Céline’s fall 2014 advertising campaign, which was her fifth season in a row as the face of the brand.

In June, the Canadian model teamed up with denim brand AG for one of her next four ad campaigns with the brand.

According to WWD, the adventure-loving Werbowy traveled to Montauk, New York, with the AG team to shoot the upcoming campaign, appropriately located on an outdoors set. The brand’s creative director Sam Ku, photographer Josh Olins and stylist Alastair McKimm were all on location with the model at a beach house to shoot the fall 2014 campaign.
