The most aggressively-growing companies have about 30 percent millennial workers in leadership roles, as opposed to 21 percent for the slowest growing companies. Many of these companies are in the tech field, offering roles that have a lot of variety and opportunities for change and growth, an attractive prospect for young workers.<\/p>\n<p>If, on the other hand, you\u2019re more concerned with your bottom line, organizations with more women consistently perform better financially. Companies in the bottom 20 percent of financial performance had only 19 percent women in leadership positions; companies in the top 20 percent have 37 percent female leadership. Women polled cited a lack of opportunities to lead teams and do work across a large geographic area as one of the key areas that\u2019s holding them back.
