One of the craziest things that happened during my time as a makeup artist for MAC cosmetics was when they launched the Quite Cute collection. There was this super pink, matte lipstick that all the mac freaks went crazy for. In fact we had so many pre-bookings that the day we put the collection out for sale we didn’t have a single one of these lipsticks left for sale and I didn’t get the chance to get my own. But a few days ago I visited the MAC store and realized that Candy Yum-yum is now here to stay! Obviously I got myself one but what happens? The very same night at the Flower Power party I lost it!! Damn it! There’s only one thing to do… Go and get a new one.
Una de las cosas mas locas que viví durante mi tiempo como makeup artist para MAC cosmetics fue el lanzamiento de la edicion limitada Quite Cute. Incluía un labial de color super rosa y mate con cual se volvieron locas todas las frikis de MAC. En realidad tuvimos tantas reservas que el día que pusimos la coleccion a la venta no quedo ni uno para vender y yo me quede sin. Pero hace unos días visité la tienda de MAC y ví que el Candy Yum-yum ya esta en la coleccion fija! Evidentemente me lleve uno pero que pasó? La misma noche en la fiesta Flower Power voy y lo pierdo!! Pffff.. Solo hay una cosa que hacer, comprarme otro!
