Every now and then I feel the need to create something and that need hit me hard last night. I decided to make Caramel Cookies like the ones my grandma always does. It was the first time I tried this recipe and I must say I&#8217;m very happy with the result!<\/p>\n<p>Caramel Cookies<\/p>\n<p><strong>150 gr Butter<br \/>\n1,5 dl Brown sugar (white works too)<br \/>\n0,5 tsp Vanilla powder<br \/>\n2 ml Salt<br \/>\n4 dl Fluor<br \/>\n1,5 tsp Baking powder<br \/>\n3 tbsp Liquid caramel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix the butter with the sugar and the vanilla powder. Then mix the fluor with the salt and the baking powder and add it to the buttermix. Add the caramel and work it all together using your hands until you get a smooth dough. Put the dough on an oven tray in five stripes that you press out until they&#8217;re about 4 cm wide (see picture). Bake them on 175 degrees for about 12 minutes and use a sharp knife to cut them while they&#8217;re still hot. A veces siento una necesidad brutal de crear algo y anoche me pic\u00f3 esa necesidad. Decid\u00ed hacer galletas de caramelo (Caramel Cookies) como las que hace mi abuela. Fue la primera vez que intent\u00e9 hacer esta receta pero tengo que decir que estoy muy contenta con el resultado!<\/p>\n<p>Caramel Cookies<\/p>\n<p><strong>150 gr de Manteca<br \/>\n1,5 decilitros de Az\u00facar moreno (blanco tambi\u00e9n funciona)<br \/>\n0,5 cucharadita de Polvo de vainilla<br \/>\n2\u00a0mililitros\u00a0de Sal<br \/>\n4 decilitros de Harina blanca<br \/>\n1,5 cucharaditas de Levadura en polvo<br \/>\n3 cucharadas de Caramelo liquido<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mezcla la manteca con el az\u00facar y el polvo de vainilla. Luego mezclas la harina con la sal y la levadura y lo a\u00f1ades a la mezcla de manteca. Despu\u00e9s a\u00f1ades el caramelo y lo trabajas todo con las manos hasta obtener una masa suave y lisa. Divides la masa en cinco y la pones en una fuente en tiras de unos 4 cm de ancho (ver foto). Lo dejas en el horno durante unos 12 minutos en 175 grados y luego usas un cuchillo afilado para cortar las galletas mientras todav\u00eda est\u00e9n calientes.
