I’ve been living here – in my New Town, as I call it – for a little more than a month now.
Sadly, it’s a small town and most people my age are.. well, more or less non-existent here. It’s a town people leave behind as they leave home. No prospects, I guess. So what I do on Saturday nights is pretty much what I do every night nowadays: Absolutely nothing!
It seems kind of dull, and I can’t argue – it is! That’s why I came to start this blog up tonight. I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, and today felt like the right day to start.
I have yet to get my apartment ready. That part’s moving slower than expected. Could partly depend on the sun – I never want to miss out on a sunny day. That would be such a waste. And, of course, it also depends on work, which takes up most of my time. But I love it!
I work down at the municipal building and I must say that I have found the greatest colleagues I could wish for. So much joy and happiness at one place, I feel blessed.

For tonight, though, there’s no work. Sitting on the couch, watching ”Auschwitz ofrivilliga bödlar” (”The involuntary executioners of Auschwitz”) on TV4 Fakta. The older I get, the more interested I become in documentaries. Probably has something to do with my eagerness to keep learning.
And, hey, what better time than now to learn a little more?
