Nu har gänget på Loading laddat upp det senaste avsnittet av podden som jag gästar, ni kan lyssna på det nedan. Det är precis så mycket kaos som det brukar vara på Spelsnack, alla pratar i mun på varandra, avbryter, skrattar åt dåliga skämt, svär osv. Eftersom alla bor på olika platser runtom i Sverige spelar vi in gemensamt via ett program som heter Mumble. Alla sitter alltså hemma med en dator, headset och en mikrofon. Det är därför som ljudkvalitén är olika beroende på vem som pratar.
Jag älskar stämningen i Spelsnack, även om det kan bli rörigt ibland så känns det tryggt för mig som inte är en hardcore spelare att prata om spel på mitt sätt. Jag känner inte pressen att behöva uttrycka mig på ett visst sätt för att bli tagen på allvar. När jag tidigare har medverkat i poddar där man sitter i en studio och ska föra en vuxen och strukturerad konversation kring sådant som jag brinner för, kan jag ibland känna mig lite begränsad. Just för att jag inte sitter på den långa spelerfarenheten som många andra gör.
Jag är väldigt lattjolajban i mitt sätt att prata, svär som en pirat och använder ordet liksom alldeles för mycket men det är ju ändå jag. Så som jag är i verkliga livet, det gillar jag med spelsnack. Att jag kan vara mig själv, på alla sätt. Well ni får ta och lyssna, så fort jag går igång och snackar om spel jag gillar så glömmer jag praktiskt taget bort att vi spelar in. Det är som att snacka med mina polare via skype. Älskar den känslan, även om det kan bli jobbigt att lyssna på för er, haha.
Det här med podden var ett ypperligt tillfälle att testa lånelurarna från Plantronics. De heter Voyager Focus och är till för folk som till exempel sitter i öppna kontorslandskap och behöver fokusera. De filtrerar bort oljud som gör att du inte kan koncentrera dig, de har också en mic som fungerar sjukt bra när man har telefonkonferenser. Det jag gillar med dem är att om jag tar av mig lurarna så aktiveras mute från min sida av samtalet.
Eftersom jag inte sitter och jobbar på kontor utan oftast jobbar hemma använde jag lurarna till att spela in podden igår. Det är ju nästan som en telefonkonferens om man tänker efter. Mikrofonen fokuserar på din röst och stänger ute andra oljud när du pratar, de förstärker också rösten så att man hörs bättre. Om ni lyssnar på podden så sitter Emma med en riktigt nice proffsmikrofon och jag med mitt headset, även om mitt snack är lite ”burkigare” tycker jag ändå att det låter helt okej. Sen är ju frågan om de är värda nästan 2800 kronor?
Personligen tycker jag att de är för dyra. Jag hade problem med att koppla ihop telefonen med dem via bluetooth och min dator hittade dem inte alls till en början. Jag gilla när saker och ting bara fungerar, utan att behöva pilla i inställningar och liknande. Om ni intresserade av ett bra headset så vänta tills julrean, då lär de går ned i pris.
