How do I count calories?

”Okay, before we start with the blueprint, I want everybody to keep this in mind: it€™s not €œweight€ you want to lose, but €œfat.€ Everybody calls it €œweight loss,€ but, believe me, you don€™t want to be losing muscle in your quest for a thinner body. I€™ll be using terms like weight loss and lose weight, but I really mean €œfat loss€ and €œlosing fat.€ 

To put it very simply, you need to create a €œcalorie deficit€ to lose weight. What that means is, you want to eat less calories than your body burns in a day.

For example, if your body burns 2000 calories a day but you eat only 1700 calories a day, you create a calorie deficit of 300 calories a day and you€™ll lose weight. If your body burns 2000 calories a day and you eat 2300 calories a day, you€™re creating a caloriesurplus of 300 calories, and you€™ll end up gaining weight over time.

How do you count calories?

It is easy to count calories (kcal). In most foods it says on the packaging how many calories it contains in 100 grams. Buy a food scale if you want a exakt number of calories.

Look what the food weights and how many calories it is in 100 gram and then its easy to count how many calories there are in it. I use the app ”ShapeUp” at my iPhone to count my calories. You can just searh on any food you like and write how many grams you had of it and the app counts out how many calories you just had. EASY!

Det är lätt att räkna kalorier (kcal). På de flesta livsmedel står det på förpackningen hur mycket produkten innehåller 
per 100 g. Det kan vara bra att skaffa sig en matvåg för att hålla koll på vad man stoppar i sig.
 
Kolla kcal innehållet per 100 gram i maten du ska äta och sedan väger du maten för att se hur mycket den väger och kan då räkna ut hur många kalorier det är i den. Jag använder mig av appen ”ShapeUp”. Den appe har en massa mat inlagt och det är bara att söka på det du ska äta och skriva in hur många gram och så räknar den ut åt dig. ENKELT!

  1. Sorry for the huge review, but I am really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it as the right choice for you.
