It gives better balance in the body which in turn provides better training results. The purpose of stretching after exercise is the following: Performance Improvements &#8211; achieve normal mobility, maintain mobility and ev. increase it.\u00a0Injury prevention &#8211; avoiding rigidity and reduces waste products from muscle (= less muscle soreness). Reduces the risk of sprains and muscle ruptures.\u00a0Faster recovery.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWhen you workout your body will be warmer than ususally and your body temperature rises often by a several degrees. When you\u00a0exercise your muscles gets hot and when you train them they will contract. How many times do you stretch your muscles durning a workout? There&#8217;s no way for them to pull out during the training itself. So you need to do it yourself after your workout. \u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nIf you want to make your stretch as good as possible, your body most be warm. So you should do it between 5 and 10 minutes after your workout..
