Johnny Depp unveiled a statue of himself during day one of the Kustendorf film festival in Belgrade, Serbia today (January
13).Joined by Serbian director Emir Kusturica, the honorary event was in recognition of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s contribution to the movie industry.
Johnny
has been receiving VIP treatment on his current trip – the Hollywood
actor was granted a meeting with the country’s president before
attending the unveiling of the statue in his likeness.And Mr. Depp has been given a warm welcome in the country – meeting President Boris Tadic before heading off to Drvengrad.
Johnny will also receive Kustendorf’s Award for Future Movies before heading back home to France.
