The female lead belongs to Rosamund Pike. But Emily Ratajkowski has done a very good job at grabbing the attention while promoting the new film Gone Girl, which have an impressive opening weekend.<\/p>\n

On Monday the 23-year-old model not only got noticed for looking stunning while wearing a grey cut-out mini dress as she stopped by SiriusXM and The Today Show. The Blurred Lines star also was smart to dish on what it was like kissing her co-star Ben Affleck in the thriller.<\/p>\n

’The whole experience was a little surreal,’ the beauty said when asked what it was like to make out with Ben, 42. \u2018I have to be honest. Obviously Ben Affleck is one of those \u2013 you know his face. I grew up with his face. Not sure if he would love that.<\/p>\n

\u2018I went into an audition and there\u2019s this really tall handsome guy. And I\u2019m like, \u201cOh my god. That\u2019s Ben Affleck.\u201d\u2019\u00a0 In addition to that fetching dress, Emily strutted her stuff in strappy open-toe heels and styled her dark hair in sleek and luxurious waves with a side part.<\/p>\n

Gone Girl is the brunette’s first feature film.<\/p>\n

She plays the college student mistress of Ben\u2019s character, Nick Dunne, whose wife Amy (Pike) vanishes on their fifth wedding anniversary. Her disappearance becomes the focus of an intense media circus and Nick sees the spotlight turned on him when it\u2019s suspected that he may not be innocent.<\/p>\n

The flick is based on the bestselling novel by Gillian Flynn and hit theatres October 3. ’It\u2019s funny. I get defensive when people say, ”Oh, you play the mistress,”’ Emily told LA Confidential.<\/p>\n

’In my mind, she\u2019s just a girlfriend who really loves her boyfriend and has been taken advantage of and doesn\u2019t realize that.\u00a0 ’Of course, she doesn\u2019t understand the full situation, which really breaks her heart later in the story.’<\/p>\n

As for her future? \u2018It\u2019s no longer a culture of ”Are you an actress? Are you a model?” Emily said. \u2018It\u2019s an overarching ”You are a figure. What do you want to do with yourself?”’<\/p>\n
