January Jones admitted to being in tears before filming her final Mad Men scene.<\/p>\n

But it seems the 37-year-old actress has not quite waved goodbye to Betty Francis yet.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, January stepped out in Los Angeles in a retro outfit befitting of the uptight housewife.<\/p>\n

January’s billowing striped skirt nipped at her waistline and was teamed with a vintage inspired pair of white frame sunglasses.<\/p>\n

She finished off the look with a loose white shirt and a pair of nude-coloured sandal heels.<\/p>\n

Keeping her shoulder-length strands styled in its usual loose waves, the mother-of-one let her complexion breathe freely with minimal make-up.<\/p>\n

Bright pink nail polish added a pop of colour to January’s understated look.<\/p>\n

The actress has certainly been busy of late, with the final season of Mad Men currently airing in the US.<\/p>\n

But January recently admitted she is struggling to come to terms with the end of Mad Men after seven seasons of playing Betty Francis and eight years on television.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the April issue of Rhapsody magazine, she explained: ’It was really hard for me that last week – and especially that last day.<\/p>\n

’I cried probably for 16 hours straight just knowing that I was speaking for her for the last time. I had to say goodbye to her in a way that was like a death. She\u2019s, like, the best character ever.’<\/p>\n

January also has a starring role on the FOX Comedy The Last Man On Earth.<\/p>\n

\"And<\/p>\n

The comedy is a breath of fresh air from the drama of Mad Men, a departure January has embraced.<\/p>\n

’I hadn’t read anything that made me laugh like that, ever. It was a nice way to be emotionally relieved of the pressure of Betty, and also just to remind people that I\u2019m not Betty,’ she told InStyle.<\/p>\n

The Mad Men season finale will air on AMC on May 17, while The Last Man On Earth can be seen on FOX every Sunday.<\/p>\n
