The Art of Building an Xmas Tree!

When you don’t have a car yet it’s not the easiest thing in the word shopping for xmas tree decoration or decoration in general. BUT since I’m lucky enough to work next to El Corte Ingles it sorted itself out;) I found the cutest little bands with snowflakes pattern that I tied like bonnets in the tree. The balls are from El Corte Ingles too, I just looove the glittery white xmas effect they have. It’s a modern/Mediterranean style tree I’m going for this year. Added the white fury rug underneath to give it a Swedish touch;) The gift wrapping and the rug are from IKEA in Murcia. Once I was there I also took the opportunity to buy some candles (especially the block candles are a bargain in that place (my home away from home)). I also made sure to buy some ’glogg’ or gluwein or actually it’s red wine with spices that you heat on the stove. It’s very Swedish for you who don’t have a clue about what I’m talking about. And my family brought some ginger bread cookies and baked saffron buns when they were visiting so it feels really xmasy here now despite living in Spain! Ha ha.
