Idag fyller min mamma 60 år och jag tyckte det var på sin plats att ge henne en härlig spa upplevelse och runda av detta underbara spa år – 2014! Vi besökte Hagabadet, som nu privatägs av makarna Heléne & Pelle Johansson.
”För snyggheten, sundheten och hälsovården”. Med de orden donerade Sven Renström 1869 pengar till Göteborgs stad för att bland annat användas till olika välgörenhetsinrättningar. En av dessa blev Renströmska bad- och tvättanstalten i arbetarstadsdelen Haga som invigdes 1876 och som nu heter Hagabadet!
Vilka klassiska ord! Jag suger lite på dem.. ”För snyggheten, sundheten och hälsovården” – så klockrent och det är ju mit företag i ett nötskal! Årets sista dag skulle få fyllas med dessa tre ord, helt enkelt!
Hagabadet lancerad i år deras nya koncept ”PureYoga” och deras och med över 100 yogalektioner i veckan har de det största, bredaste och kanske till och med det djupaste utbudet av yoga i Sverige, tror jag faktiskt…
Vi började med stortvagning och jag hade med mig lite eget peeling salt, ansiktsmask och eterisk olja, så det blev en liten spontan Saunachill, för de gäster som var där;-) Mycket uppskattat och bastun fylldes snabbt med nyårsgäster som ville få en extra DETOX effekt:-)
Sedan gick vi vidare til Relax avdelningen och provade Fish Spa, jag hade varnat min mamma och syster, om jag inte var stor fan av denna ”gimmick”, men gav det en chans igen… Men jag fixar inte att bli kittlad under fötterna och bara tanken på att de firrar smaskat på någon annans fötter innan, känns inte så spännande ;-( Borde vara ett härligt ångbad där inne istället…
Yoga hann vi inte med i dag, men jag provade för en vecka sedan och det var en mycket populär flowklass med Kitty Strand. Salen är ljus och fin..Namasté!
Efteråt var vi hungriga och törstiga och passade på att prove deras nya restaurang Pure Bistro & Wine´s helgbuffé. En blanding av lite rawfood, fisk, skaldjur och varma rätter. Efterföljt av kaffe och dessertbuffé – Något för alla smaker, men det kunde dock vara lite mer smak på rawfooden…
I februari öppnar Hagabadet en systerfilial på andra sidan älven, på Sannegården. I studion alldeles intill kajkanten kommer de erbjuda PureYoga, PurePower, behandlingar, bad, spa och vårt restaurangkoncept Pure Bistro & Wine. Härligt för Hisningborna!
