Crossfit på gym i all ära, men nu tänkte jag prova på det REAL DEAL här i Götet.
Det började bra… med en så gömd lokal (very underground) i en bakgård i gamla Lykkesholms bryggerier, så var det nära att jag inte hittade dit till: http://www.crossfitgota.se/Det är så långt ifrån det vanliga gymmet man kan komma. Testosteronet nästan droppar från taket – som tur är luktar det faktiskt inte så mycket svett som jag befarat, utan det känns totalt autentiskt och rått, härligt befriande och fokuserande på ÉN sak! Träna crossfit!
Ok,det började med en kisspaus direkt eftersom hoppa hopprep är inte min bäckenbottens stora hit… Uppvärmingen gick bra, mycket djurtema, björngång, giraff lounges etc.
Därefter började the WOD og la jag ut hårt med löpning i 2 minuter, som tröttade ut mig totalt. Ingen bra taktik… sen körde vi en serie i 12 minuter och jag var nära döden flera gånger.. tänkte be om syrgas, luktsnus eller vad som helst för att få igång denna trötta kropp. Våldsamt irriterad på den halva flaskan vin från igår som nu försökte förbränna sig! Fy på sig, ingen bra grej – den kändes dagen efter…
Men jag överlevde och även om det både var blodsmak och yrsel, så tänker jag komma tillbaka! Man blir totalt motiverad, och man gör sitt yttersta eftersom man lite tävlar mot sig själv samtidigt som man ser de andras tider… Yeah!
