Lige da du troede at jeg ikke kunne grave flere sindsyge sportsrelateret gadgets frem på DILF-bloggen, kommer nu dette indlæg om min notoriske Powerball. Jeg fandt den frem nede i Doktor Veltz’ Laboratorium og så den lille fine kvadratiske æske stå fint over i hjørnet på en af hylderne. Jeg anskaffede mig denne fantastiske gyrobold for at træne min underarm, hænder, fingre og bevægelse i min højre arm da jeg for nogle år siden knuste min albue ved et styrt på skateboard i Fælledparken. Rigshospitalets genoptræningsafdeling havde aldrig hørt om denne gyrobold, så jeg skulle have den godkendt til brug af genoptræning inden jeg for alvor kunne gå i gang med den. Efter en demonstration af Powerball’en stod det klart at jeg selvfølgelig godt kunne bruge den i min genoptræning og nu har jeg altså fundet den frem igen. Jeg er nemlig begyndt til noget TRX træning som kræver at man hele tiden holder fast i to seler med håndtag, og da jeg fra naturens siden er udstyret med to sæt meget lidt maskuline hænder, også kaldet små spinkle bøgse hænder, har jeg svært ved at holde fast i TRX-selerne over laaang tid uden at mine små bøgse hænder bukker under. Det skal der selvfølgelig laves om på så derfor er Powerball’en nu kommet frem fra kælderen igen og op i den lille crib på Nørrebro. Jeg kan VIRKELIG anbefale den hvis du ønsker at træne dit grip eller underarm på ANY tænkelig måde. Der findes mange fine videoer på YouTube og selvfølgelig på Powerball.dk’s website. Jeg har fundet en instruktion og gennemgang af Powerball’en på YouTube som er rigtig fin og selvom det er en hockeyspiller der bruger den, er han super skarp til at formulere øvelser, funktion og todos. Jeg har selv den model som hedder Powerball 250Hz PRO, men ALLE modellerne har samme basisfunktion, nemlig at styrke dit grip og underarme. Rigtig god fornøjelse!
