I love that I don’t care how they turn out.. Honestly, I don’t like the end result of most my paintings and that’s ok. What I do like however is that I can take a step back when I’m finished and know exactly what brush stroke means what. I don’t see a finished painting. I see bottled up feelings allowed to turn into colors and lines, and to me there is always beauty in that.. THAT is exactly why I paint.
And it’s much cheaper than actual therapy :P
