I’m about to make you guys so jealous… I just booked myself and a friend a weeks vacation at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai for my birthday!! Some days I absolutely love being an adult, and getting to make awesome decisions like this one. Because why not? I was reading over some of my old blog posts from years and years ago (because I’m trying to print and save them), and found one that said something abut how proud I am for making my life the adventure that it is and it’s so true. I take chances, and I put my heart on the line. I go for what I want, and I work hard to get it. I do things I’m scared of doing. I pack up and move without thinking twice about it, and see where it got me? All those times I took a chance, all of those impulse decisions led me here. Right where I belong. I’m where I’m supposed to be, finally.
I’m in a house that I love, in a city that keeps pleasantly surprising me with it’s people and places.. I’m surrounded by absolutely amazing friends, and I get to spend my days doing what I love. Sure, every minute of every day hurts and getting through them in a broken body is an accomplishment in itself, but you know what?.. I don’t even care anymore. I can still do anything..but I deserve a god damn vacation haha :D
