Chapter 44

The future is called perhaps, which is the only thing to call the future, the only important thing is to not allow that to scare you. Our faith in the present dies out long before our faith in the future; I believe the future is only the past again, entered through another gate. We should all be concerned about the future because we will have to spend the rest of our lives there.

The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers, but above all the world needs dreamers who do and deliver, we all must have long range goals to keep us from being frustrated by short range failures, wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. Don’t live down to expectations, go out there and do something remarkable. Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land among the stars, success isn’t a result of spontaneous burning, you should and must set yourself on fire, if you want to make your dreams come true the first thing you need to do is to wake up, though no one can go back and make a brand new start, but anyone can start from now and make a fucking brand new ending!!!

The first two countries reacted to the invasion were USA and England, the rest of the world were trying to fix the problem in a peaceful way but to no results cause Saddam was determined not to leave Kuwait no matter what, Iraq at that time had the 4th largest army in the world exceeding over 1,500,000 soldiers and pretty good equipped in comparison with neighboring countries.

But it stood no chance against the 30 countries coalitions that really literally putted back Iraq one century back words in anything, and Saddam got his ass kicked and went away with it with just a slap on the hand, what he had done to the Kurds or the shia or any other people in his country that didn’t concern the coalitions, their mission was to liberate Kuwait that’s all, WHAT A FUCKING SHAME CAUSE WE ALL KNOW THEY SHOULD HAVE FINISHED HIM RIGHT THERE AND THEN!!!!!!!!!!

When Iraq pulled out of Kuwait, a revolution broke all over Iraq except the northern middle part which belonged to Saddam´s family and his loyal followers, but the rest of the country was in turmoil and killings all over. The Iraqi people kind of felt the freedom is coming but it never came, it never did.

The government stabilized itself after awhile and begun the cleaning up of the riots as how they called them and begun the torture and the bloody interrogations at it best, resulting in at least 100,000 killings and more than 100 mass graves, plus some other 150,000 missing and gone to nobody knows where until today!!?

The regime regained its power, and the world watched in silence as usual, until 2003 where a fucking cowboy (George bush jr) decided to go over there and throw the bastard out of the picture cause he didn’t agree with him anymore, well and here I am in the fucking army, marching the Saudi desert and we were about to do the most dangerous mission in our lives yet.

The plan was simple, infiltrate-observe-sabotage and destroy  and then head back home where the base would be established at that time, we did the mission together with the SAS which was an honor to go side by side with the best in our trade, we went through the Iraqi desert by day and we had our quite camping in the night away from any Iraqi eyes or any hostile disruptions.

we were heading towards Alsamawah (Al muthanna) an Iraqi province to the middle west of Iraq where according to our Intel there was a nuclear bunker there, we were using the SATNAV (MAGELLAN) on different codes (ask me if you want to know more) which needed to be observed and infiltrated and then destroy if we discover any dangers in it that can contain a direct threat to us or the rest of the world.

When we were walking the desert, flash backs ran through my mind, Afghanistan flashbacks, some were good, some were bad, some of them mixed, but the most annoying flashback that hit me at that time and kept on coming was the not from Afghanistan but from my training period, which was our almost final test, a test I will never forget for the rest of life no matter how old I will get or how much memory I would lose in the future, that test will always be imprinted and carved deep inside of me and marked a really deep meaning about will power and physical ability in all of us who did it at that time!!

Major P.T. from the SAS, a name which I will never forget or the face that belonged to it, and why, that my dear fellow readers I will tell more about it in the next chapter.

Stay tuned to the next……………………….……………….
