Since we have so many people to come visit now that we have moved to another country, we have come up with a great rule.
If you come and visit don’t bother bringing flowers, cheese, chocolate, or any other pointless gift from ’your country’..just bring us some champagne. We love champagne, you are visiting us – 2 and 2 together = a perfect ’tank you for letting me stay’ gift.
My sister and dad have just arrived to stay over christmas. I am so happy they always follow the house rule 😉
