You might find yourself thinking things like, Oh that museum.Been there, done that. But if you make the visit anyway again you realize that what you saw at the museum in your younger ages was only a fraction of what your eyes see now.
One friend of mine that I spoked with on skype ( hey, skype is soon taking over my life,/ fb=already/ but I love chatting with my girlies back in Sweden. ) starts to asks herself why she dont have the same lust and needs to meet up with friends ( even if she loves to do that she dont find her time to do it ) or do the funny things that she used to do some year ago. ” Can it be the age” ? She asks my, why? ” You feel the same, Vero” ?
I mean for the first of all she is a very hard working lady( Key Account manager ) and she travels some days per week to cities around, has kids, a big apartment to take care of with all the stuff that are needed to do. If she has a cleaning lady, who comes and help her? ” NO ”
I have said it before, I dont understand how they can manage everything these incredible women from my home country? Cooking, cleaning, buying the food, taking care of the kids, fixing the laundry, iron the laundry ( not the petite panties and socks 🙂 …. and working 100%. I dont get it. Are they the wonder women, or? She has a husband, of course he is a good helper, but anyway. I think its magical handle all this.
” Do you have time for yourself ” ? I ask back. ” Time for sex” ? …hihihi!
For example now when she is not hanging around outside, or catching up with friends like she frenetically used to do, she has more sparetime time with her husband and her kids…. ”Again” … ” Do you have time for yourself ”? ” Maybe, not ” she answers me, back.
I can remind you, that she also find her time to be well pampered to look gourgeous, the nails, her hair, makeup and so on ( when she find time for that is also a mystery). She has one of the biggest wardrobes full of petite dresses, and dont you ask me about her fetich for shoes.
Lets get back to the aging process.
What I was thinking this morning was that if you dont exercise your body, then your muscles begin to constrict. And if you dont exercise your mind, then your attitudes begin to constrict. And nothing constricts your life experience like the constriction of your thoughts. It limits your possibilities, and it limits your joy. Maybe its time to hit the road, again? Go to the Wasa Museum even if you have been there twice but it was 6 years ago, do it…( if someone so muchwants to go there and see this huge viking boat .) Never think that you are too old for this and for that. Or that you have seen that or done that. Up to it, again.
When we having our own time for ourselves we can start to actually look back and fiding out who we actually aren’t and then slowly we begin to understand who we actually are. Dont forget that we have many missions in our life before we have that whole bounch of sand over us 🙂

Oh dear, they don’t manage – you have the answer right there. Cleaning , working full time. no sun… of course life start to seem dull and unexciting. There’s nothing wrong accepting help even if you pay for it and the cleaner won’t steal your things or go through them;)
Maybe to much proudness? People in sweden they want to put their money on other things then for a cleaning lady… We dont think in ways that, I can have more sparetime with my family if I dont have to do that and fixing this, and so on… I dont know why but life over there is like that 🙁
