Ive got a major weakness for vintage clothes, so when an invitation comes from nearest brands shop here in Padova I just dont get so happy if it had arrived an invitation from some vintage stores in town. I heard roumers that in july its coming to town a vintage exhibition. Guess who is in for that que?

Example today: I have my hairdresser close to Venezia so I often go by train. Well, off the train hitting the anxious city Padova walking home, I pass by some nicey nicey shops… Ajjajajaj. Why, do I always make my best buyes when its the mood ” unpredictable”. I just need to accept it, its a game for me. One day I find lot of great pices and another I find niente. Vintage shopping IS unpredictable. I think THAT is making me full of small orgasms in my body to just see all the original-only-one-piece-stuff-and-now-its-time-for-you-Vero-to-buy-IT !

IS this it? Yes, today I ran into a pair of neon classic high open toe shoes. Can you believe it? A orange bag, big like hell and a pair of shoes in the same smiling colour. I would suggest people to not be a label snob. Dont worry too much about whats designer and whats not – its more important to purchase looks and feels good rather then having a designer bag. Dont forget that you are alone with that dress, trousers, tiny blouse or plastic fantastic shoes. At least til 10% alone.

Another tip is, dont get off on a style tangent. Vintage shopping can be a bit overwhelming and its easy to get carried away. Stick to pieces that suit your own personal style. Me Im very contradictional when it comes to styles. Like how Iam – strong and fragile.

My best investments regarding clothes has always been vintage. I still use my favourite red dress that I bought in my home village 1993. I adore that dress. Im also happy that my body shape is still the same 🙂

Now, I need to runny, runny back to my store because here cash IS king, and the queen didnt  had so much cash on her when I was there one hour ago. I had to go back home to search under my bed 🙂
