How stressful isnt it the part of the day, when the moment coming out of the shower and think. ” I havent got a thing to wear”. Even if my walk-in closet are full of clothes. Sometimes nothing looks the way I feel. When I just moved to Italy, I was astonished how petite, pretty and classic they were dressing these girls…. I kept on wondering, how in the hell Im gonna do now? Change the whole wardrobe? But before I was ready to lug everything to the charity shop ( Ehhh, it was a joke), I took a moment to think about what constitutes my style, and why. Was I ready to come in pretty conservative dresses a la italiana? NO WAY.
Was my days over, dressed in a sexy elegant way? I love soo soo much everything that is shaped in a military way, fitted perfectly on my body. For example this Burberry coat is really ME.
I thought about those questions:
- Is it really my style I want to change?
- How do I want to be perceived?
- How do I identify my new style?
- How much should I compromise?
- Whose style do I admire and why?
One thing is also important as Im getting older. Im toning down my inner child and extravagant side, but I dont lose it – my clothes still reflect who Iam. I have also a very BIG personality that I have to consider when Im dressing up myself. Less is more. Im not a fan of jewelry.
This is probably the best autumn look for the moment. Sexy sleek in leather – stylish and classic.
Audrey is an icon – but if I dress like her, I feel 40 :))) !!! Though I love her style.
