Your paradiso
Venezia
It is a truly unique experience when the hidden charm of the city, known as La Serenissima, dawns on you after awhile and you realize that the usual traffic lights is replaced with sounds of whispering water. Riding on a gondola maybe everyones dream but its not in everyones price wallet. Why, don’t you grab a less romantic but more practical vaporetto / (waterbus) instead, where there are also a few open-air seats provided. Just beware of you and your camera would be splashed with water. Some traveling routes to visit less well-known canals are to go out to the lagoons more smaller islands. Like the world famous, Lido where the Venice filmfestival is held every year at the end of August. Move off from the general tourists streets and just walkie, walkie around with your beloved is truly an magnific paradiso in Bella Venezia.
Here, one of all my pic of Venezia.
Soon, in some weeks the Carneval Festival in Venezia starts and then many of the venetian people, visiting this store that offers them the typical ancient clothes back in the old decades….
My god, this dress is a shit on me..my breast seems to be hanging upon my stomach:) the only thing that is nice is the colour…he he he.
A very tired Vero, that doesnt wear ballerinas on her feet. I was stupid enough to walk in Venezia with high heels, I loved it the first 5min then I went angry like this as you can see… (on myself of course..heheeh) . Now, Im more wiser..
Roma
Personally, this is one of the most beautiful places on earth, city speaking. No industrials. Only plenty of ancient monuments, worldclass museums, wonderful art, beautiful buildings, magnificent churches and stunning views, the eternal city has something for everyone. When your brain goes down to much beauty overload…hahahaha, have a picnic in Rome’s many parks. Go for a walk along il Tevere ( the river Tiber ) for a different point of you of the city. A must is to visit Pantheon the spectacular temple where you can speak to the gods directly through an open wide hole up inside under the roof. First time for me, I was swept away breathtaking to step inside in this ancient, circular rebuilted temple 120 after Christ. And don’t forget the tradition of throwing a coin in The Trevi Fountain (with your back facing the fountain, thrown from your right hand over your left shoulder) to ensure you will return back to Rome. Suddenly you see yourself taking a bath like Miss Ekberg, that goes for all the Swedish donne… 😉
Pantheon
This is the hole under the roof inside Pantheon. Here everone came and prayed to the gods up in the sky.
