My favourite Marilyn photographer. He always avoided the bombshell route and instead photographed her looking both playful and vulnerable, exposing Monroe\u2019s sweet spirit. These photos, taken over the course of 3 days in New York with Marilyn\u2019s husband Arthur Miller are especially poignant because they were taken just a month after Marilyn suffered a miscarriage. In every shot she\u2019s so plump and youthful and healthy and full of hope and love, the shots with Miller are intimate and gentle, and you can see his adoration of her and all the comfort he gave her at that point in their relationship. Shaw captures both beautiful candids and tells a stunning story as Marilyn dances in the late summer grass and beguiles the camera. <\/span><\/h2>\n
