\ntogether on a beautiful day, and seeing your hand stretched to mine –
\nholding it, reassuring me that I shouldn\u2019t worry about anything because
\nour life was good.<\/p>\n
\nwarning, and without having the time for a final hug and the chance to
\nsay, \u201cI love you,\u201d for the last time. The pain and shock of that sudden
\nloss is with me every moment of every day.<\/p>\n
\n1980, I realized that it was still warm. That moment has haunted me for
\nthe past 27 years \u2013 and will stay with me forever.<\/p>\n
