For the second year in a row, the opening weekend of the Cannes Film Festival has been washed out by heavy rains in the South of France. After three days of sporadic showers in the beginning days of 2013’s glamorous fest, the rain turned to a new level on Saturday putting a damper on the big opening weekend. The traditionally packed seaside promenade, the Croissette, was virtually empty in the downpour Saturday. Party organizers scrambled and celebrations were moved from outdoor venues to indoor locations. But a little bit of rain didn’t stop us from still having fun
