Häromdan gjorde jag något så ovanligt som att lämna Östermalm för ett restaurangbesök i Vasastan. Svartengrens på Surbrunnsgatan blev ingen besvikelse och lyfte kvällen till oanade höjder.
I lokalen låg en gång i tiden klassiska Mården. I dag drivs krogen av ägaren Göran (med efternamnet Svartengren) som skapat en harmonisk, elegant men samtidigt avslappnad krogmiljö. Stolarna är unika, precis som köttet. Ekologiskt, svenskt och närproducerat är det som gäller.
En Calvados, årsmodell 77, fick avsluta en angenäm vardagskväll på krogen dit jag med all säkerhet återvänder inom en snar framtid.
