ABSOLUT BLOOD FROM A STONE PARTY…
On January 6th, 2011 I sponsored when Hollywood Star Ethan Hawk made his debut in NY off Broadway, staring in the popular and hit theatre play “Blood from a Stone”, written Tommy Nobilly, and directed by Scott Elliott.
The play was darkly comic showing a different side of life, yet the incredible performances and flawless act put the VIP heavy guestlist of attendees in the right mood to enjoy the official Absolut After Party. Absolut Vodka now got its big share to stand in the spotlight and take over the act of the night.
The stylish venue 404, the quick and efficient staff, the great sounding system, and above all, the glamorous display of the Absolut brand, ensured that none of the people attending would walk out the after party and have the Absolut logo turn up in their dreams – at least once that night.
Flowers were creatively replaced with the Absolut drink menu, lighted Absolut Magnum bottles were strategically placed in the event space, the spotlight was on, on Absolut.
Absolut also identified with the name and theme of the show and tasty Absolut “Blood Fromatinis” flew in mass, a unique Cosmopolitan drink with Absolut Vodka, Cranberry-, and Lime- Juice and an Orange Liquor. All VIP guests and other guests were handed the Absolut drink right at the entrance, and red sure did shine, and set the tone of the event. Despite a couple of nibbles and business cards, you would not see one guest without a cosmopolitan in their hand.
The guestlist was impressive. Ethan Hawk, Billy Crudup, Chloe Sevigny, Sophie Flack, Billy Crudup.
True success, and a good start into the new year 2011….
