I sponsored my friend Alexander Esguerra’s art show the other day. Alexander a California native raised in a family of designers and fine artists, is the heart an soul behind Love & Paint, an artwork series inviting couples to make love on paint and canvas. Alexander held his second New York City exhibition at Openhouse Gallery on Friday evening, with an invite-only press, friends and family event, complete with an open bar thet I sponsored with ABSOLUT, a DJ spinning all night, and a female artist creating a piece of work in front of the partygoers’ eyes.
To wrap up the exhibit, a beautifully fit and scantily clad artist covered herself in brightly colored paint and glitter for a work of art to be shared with the audience in attendance. She passed out black papers with quotes, splattered with acrylic paint and the outline of her kisses.
