Especially thoughtful in NY where everyone’s trying to be someone or something special. Lie about things until you make it seems to be the life motto for a lot of people.
Just by questioning things one more time before acting keeps me down to earth, honest, and approaches opportunities with a sense of what’s/who bullshit and what’s/who is not.
My motto: Don’t put energy into thoughts, things or people you don’t want more of in your life. If you do, you just get more of what you dont want.
