Dessa underbara väskor är tillverkade med hand och hjärta på ön Lamu, precis utanför Kenya.
För en väska krävs det 7 människors handarbete. Genom att vi säljer denna väska gör vi det möjligt för dessa 7 män/kvinnor att få mat på bordet, att deras barn kan gå i skolan, att de kan ha elektricitet mm. Tillsammans kan vi göra skillnad!
Väskan är som sagt handgjord och tillverkad av återvinningsbar canvas. Tyget kommer från seglen på Dhow´s båtarna som fiskarna använder (på Swahili kallas de Tanga). Väskorna har starka YKK blixtlåsar och innertyg är av vattenresistent linne.
Väskan tvättas för hand eller i maskin på 40 grader.
Vissa väskor är vintage – på dessa kan man verkligen se vilket konstverk dessa segel är.
Naturen har skapat dem med vind, havsatten, sol mm. Och en del av kollektionen är målade.
Kollektionen innehåller – clutch, sminkväska, shopper, stor och liten weekend bag samt en axel/hand- väska.
Med denna väska väljer vi att ta ett socialt ansvar samtidigt som vi berikar världen med en cool och andvändningsbar väska.
