Idag fick jag ett jätte fint mail av regissören till dokumentärfilmen ”Porrkungens tårar”. Han har läst mitt blogginlägg där jag skriver om filmen. Så fint!

Jag har verkligen aldrig någonsin kommenterat någon som skrivit nått om mina filmer och kommer säkert aldrig göra det efter det här.
Kanske fånigt att säga att jag inte bryr mig om vad folk skriver. Det gör jag säkert utan att se det bakom nån förträngd rädsla som jag vägrar erkänna. Jag tycker faktiskt att det är lite kul när folk skriver tokigheter och elakheter. ”En tunn kopp te” skrev nån dansk journalist om den av mina filmer som blivit mest omtalad.
Men den här gången kollade jag faktiskt och jag blev berörd av det du skrev.
Sara, jag blev verkligen på riktigt riktigt glad när jag läste din blogg. Inte för att det var någon lysande kritik.
Det var bara så oerhört befriande att se att du såg precis det jag ville få fram.
Det var som att du såg vad det handlar om att göra film tyckte jag. De handlar ju om människan och känslor och hur dom der ut därinne och hur livet är, inte om politik och moralism eller en massa PC-innetrender som dör ut om några år.
Jag har gjort många filmer men den här var ett rent helvete att göra. Bråk till höger och vänster och massor med maktfinansiärer och redaktionsfolk som ville stoppa den eller tvinga mig till moralistiska domar eller bannbullor över äcklet. Eller ännu värre; ett pengahungrande produktionsbolag som gapade – ”mer tuttar, snoppar och snusk” – det säljer! Jag försökte hitta en gyllene medelväg men vägrade på ett vänligt sätt till slut. Huuu, det var hemskt.
Så skönt att du såg vad det handlade om. En människa – och hur han såg ut inuti bakom all den där tragedin.
