Efter flera veckors planering drar jag nu till Iran med Loa! Det har varit så mycket som har behövts fixas inför resan och tiden har bara runnit iväg. Mitt pass kom i torsdags och det är en otrolig lättnad! Så nu har jag handlat det sista, en slöja och det som kvarstår är packningen, kolla igenom manus och allt annat, sen är det bara att köra.
Det är väldigt nervöst då det är första gången jag reser dit utan min familj och det är ingen familjeresa. Jag reser dit med en person från Sverige som aldrig varit i Iran tidigare som ska få träffa min släkt. Det är så overkligt. För min släkt i Iran har varit som en dröm, som är långt borta från min verklighet. Jag har hälsat på de flera gånger i Iran, men då känns det som man försvinner in i en annan värld, helt plötsligt har man kusiner, mostrar osv. I Sverige har jag ingen förutom min familj. Hela min släkt är i Iran, ingen följde efter. Så nu ska någon från Sverige få följa med mig till den här andra världen. Det är spännande men samtidigt pirrigt!
Vi är borta en vecka och kommer att vara i två olika städer. Jag tror redan nu att det kommer bli en otrolig resa! Det jag alltid eftersträvar med mitt jobb är att alltid visa sidor av människor, platser, kulturer osv som man inte sett förr eller som man hört om men aldrig sett. Så jag hoppas verkligen att jag lyckas förmedla det jag vill.
Igår spenderade jag hela dagen i Eskilstuna och firade min systers son som fyllde 1 år! Blev mycket socker och många presenter!
