Alla har väl någon gång fått frågan ”om du fick vara välja att vara ett djur, vilket djur skulle du vilja vara då?”. Jag brukar alltid svara fågel. För då kan man flyga och jag kopplar att flyga med frihet. Ja nu är jag tyvärr ingen fågel om jag vill prova flyga får jag köra bodyflight, vilket jag gjorde i lördags! Det är en cool grej att prova på. När jag arbetade på Nyhetsmorgon skulle jag göra ett reportage om detta, men då var inte vindtunneln klar.
Bodyflight är alltså när man flyger i en vindtunnel. Den här vindtunneln finns i Norra Ulvsunda, nära Alvik. Man ska vara där en timme innan och då går man igenom allt med en instruktör som visar hur man ska hålla armar och ben sen så får man flyga två gånger. Jag trodde det skulle vara jätte enkelt men det var det inte. Men lite träning dock tror jag det kommer gå bättre. Men det var svårt att hålla armar och ben i rätt position och det var jätte svårt att andas med all vind. Men det var en otrolig upplevelse.
Jag gjorde detta med min vän Mina och vi hade det jätte kul. Efteråt åkte vi till en persiskt restaurang i Akalla och åt god mat!

Bodyflight eller inomhusfallskärmshoppning (indoor skydiving) är både ett fritidsnöje och en träningsform. Känslan är den samma som att kasta sig ut från ett flygplan men i en säkrare miljö. Bodyflight Stockholm i Bromma simulerar frifallshastigheter på upp till 300km/h, men som förstagångsflygare flyger du i hastigheter kring 200km/h.
Du flyger på en luftstråle i en glaskammare som simulerar fartvinden precis som under ett fallskärmshopp i fritt fall. Det betyder att de rörelser du kan göra i Bodyflight Stockholms vindtunnel är samma som du kan göra i fria luften. Hela kroppen fungerar som ett roder i den starka luftstrålen och känslan av att lära sig manövrera sin kropp i fritt fall går inte att jämföra med något annat. Fallskärmshoppare har i åratal använt sig av Bodyflight, men kallat det för att ”tunnla”, för att öva sina färdigheter inför tävlingar.
