En av de tre sakerna jag gillade mest med IFA i år var denna lilla robot. Det är en ny medlem av StarWars-familjen som kommer synas i den nya filmen. Hen heter BB-8 och är lika charmig som alla StarWars robotar.
Denna lilla leksak är byggd på Sphero. Ni kanske har sett dem. Det är små bollar som blinkar blått som man kan styra med en app. De har varit ganska populära och folk bygger banor för att utmana sig själva.
Den här BB-8 är alltså en Sphero med en målad dräkt på samt en magnet där man fäster ett litet huvud. Detta huvud rör sig med automatik medan roboten rullar runt på golvet. Just denna modell ska vara ganska intuitiv, det vill säga att ni kommer lära känna varandra med tiden. Roboten kan patrullera runt på egen hand och utforska området, du kan styra den själv, du kan ge den kommandon via appen men också via röststyrning.
Den laddas via induktion så man bara ställer roboten på sin laddplatta som också är fin.
Jag återkommer med en video på sköningen när vi lärt känna varandra lite bättre.
