Bilspel är så jävla kul, typ den enda spelkategorien där jag kan hänga med. Jag är ju inte mycket för pang pang så! Om det inte smäller i avgasrören förstås.
Jag har ALLTID spelat bilspel med vanlig handkontroll men så fick jag testa F1 och det gick verkligen inte alls att spela så. Så jag kontaktade Logitech för att få testa att spela spelet med ratt och det fick jag.
I dag började jag dock med att testa Project Cars med ratten eftersom jag kom i gång lite sent och ett F1 lopp tar rätt lång tid.
Installationen
Ratten har tre delar, där en del är valfri. Det är ratten med alla dess kontroller på, det är plattan med gas, broms och koppling och så den valfria enheten – växelspak. Jag har inte ens packat upp växelspaken än. Enheten med ratt ska fästas i ett bord och där kom bekymmer ett. Provade ett bord som jag hade planerat att använda då det är i bra höj osv. Men det var för tjockt!! Fästet gick inte runt kanten.. Fan! Tog ett av våra sideboards som vi har nere i biorummet och det gick bra, men då kom dilemma två – pedalerna. Detta bord har nämligen en massa jävla lull-lull för sig med benen så jag fick liksom balansera pedalsetet på det. Inte helt optimalt men det fick funka.
Ratten måste kopplas in till ett eluttag, pedalsetet kopplas till ratten och ratten kopplas till PS4:an med USB. Tyvärr verkar det inte som den fungerar med blåtand eller så vilket jag antar har att göra med exaktheten, det vill säga att när jag vrider på ratten så ska det ske i exakt samma sekund i spelet, det kan lagga om kör trådlöst. Dock vart alldeles för spänt i kabeln till PS4:an så jag fick flytta bordet lite och sitta på sniskan mot tv:n. Ja ni hör ju vilken cirkus.
Project Cars som testspel
Men spelet åkte på och jag testade lite carting och sedan lite större bilar. Det var svårare än jag trodde att köra med ratt. Det är ändå så pass långt i från verkligheten att man känner sig bra dum i bland. Men jag körde på om och om igen och efter ett tag får man in snitsen. Jag blev dock vansinnigt trött i armarna och händerna så jag tog en paus nu och plockar upp F1 i morgon. Återkommer!
Kvaliteten är toppen
Känslan på ratten är fantastisk. Sköna material och bra forcefeedback. Kontrollerna är lätta att hantera och växlingen med paddlarna är superhärlig. Föredrar att få växla själv. Pedalerna är gedigna och känns inte plastiga. Skönt motstånd som gör att det känns mer äkta.
