cherry blossoms & cemetery gates

IMG_5123 IMG_5110 IMG_5105 IMG_5133 IMG_5050 IMG_5101 IMG_5120 IMG_5108 IMG_5049 IMG_5041We went to the current mandatory picture place in Copenhagen – Bispebjerg Cemetery. There is a cherry blossom avenue in bloom and people are crazy about it, so obviously I had to visit too. And I must admit that it was quite beautiful and definitely the perfect outfit picture background even though there were so many people there making it difficult to get a people-less and nice shot. Anyway, it was worth a visit and really beautiful. For outfit details, see below.

pretty in pink

Image 3Hey lovelies! I hope you’ve had a nice weekend too. I had an amazing weekend and I can’t believe how nice the weather was yesterday! So sunny and hot! This is what I wore for a walk down at Kastellet. I adore my Club Petanque sweatshirt and astronaut ice cream and Dior sunnies. I’m off to school soon so I better get ready for that.

dining space

I bought these ranunculus a while ago but they still look really cute (I think I got them like 14 days ago!?). This is a little corner of my apartment – the dining space. I bought the Kartell Louis Ghost Chairs designed by Phillippe Starck and the Bourgie Table lamp and I’m so happy for both. I’ve been wanting them like forever! I got the over the top gorgeous mahogany table from my Grandparents and I love the mix of antique mahogany and quite modern Louis XV style plexiglass chairs. And I added the sheepskin to make it all a little bit more Scandi. Now I just need to try and get a glass plate for the table made, so I need to man up and call somebody who might be able to do that… Today we haven’t really been up to that much; we’ve studied, went for a long walk in the sunshine, went to the gym, had dinner and I just tried out my Dior Hydra Life products after the shower! They were so comfortable, luxe and my skin looks really pretty now.

pisco & pear

IMG_8227I woke up pretty late today because last night was really fun! So today I’ve spent some quality time with my boyfriend. We studied a bit in the morning and then I went to yoga. I was quite worried I couldn’t go because of my hand but it wasn’t as tough as it usually is (thank God). Then my boyfriend and I went for a walk and got him some new gym stuff before grocery shopping and heading back home and making yummy dinner. Right now, we’ve just gotten back from Helium, which is my favourite cocktail lounge in Copenhagen. I’ve been wanting to show it to my boyfriend for a while now but we’ve had other plans almost all Fridays and Saturdays. So now we finally went there and it was lovely as usual – we had the classic pisco sour and a “Rye & Pear” whiskey cocktail, that was quite nice and grown up candy-ish. Now we’re watching a series before going to bed pretty early.

friday vibes

IMG_8226It’s Friday and I’m definitely feeling the Friday/weekend vibes! I’m going to a friend’s birthday in a little while and then we’re going to some after (med) school thing, which will be fun too. It was ages since I last went! Today I’ve been to school for a little while and then I ran some errands (I had to get some special band aids from the pharmacy because I accidentally cut my hand – new knife and an avocado in hand – not a good combo)… Anyway, now I’m dressed, hair and makeup is ready and I’m almost good to go! My boyfriend is coming later tonight and he might join the after work thing. I wish you all an amazing weekend! By the way, the lipstick is YSL coral extreme and the dress is from Mango.

pink normann copenhagen

NormannIf you haven’t been to the Normann flagship on Østerbrogade in Copenhagen, I definitely recommend it! It’s such a cute/industrial little universe (with really good photo ops because of all the different rooms and wall textures). They sell lots of pretty things too – like these cool pink velvet chairs, red throw and a cognac coloured office chair. I went there this weekend when I also got myself a clear pink Lyngby vase (a Danish classic), but not in that store though. Now I’m heading home from school, baking some seed crisp bread and having dinner.
